The above fees are valid until further notice. The term fee is payable immediately in the beginning of the term and by 20.1.2012 as is January’s monthly fee. If you choose to pay in two installments, then the second installment will be payable during week 10, by 9.3.2012. The monthly payment is payable by the 5th day of each month.
Paying monthly is a little bit more expensive than paying each term. The decision to finish lessons should be announced at least one week before the month ends to avoid the further payment of the following month. If you have already paid the term payment, it cannot be returned. Members of the same family will receive sibling discount. The regular student will get the sibling discount from the term fee and irregular student will pay the monthly fee according to the number of lessons. Late payments carry 8% interest.
The term fee includes 15 lessons during the autumn and 17 lessons during the spring. The school terms of Piano School Subito are almost as long as the terms of the primary/secondary school. The student concerts are included in payments.
HOLIDAYS AND ABSENCE
During school term time Piano School Subito runs lessons normally. During the school holidays, there are no lessons in Piano School Subito. Sometimes the holidays vary between schools, therefore it would be advisable to confirm the times of lessons with your teacher.
If teacher is absent then the lesson will be held at another agreed time.
The student is obligated to inform teacher directly of her/his absence from lessons. If the time of absence is known well in advance (e.g. travelling), it might be possible to change the time of the lesson. In the case of illness, it would be advisable to inform your teacher as soon as possible. If the student is not able to take part in lessons for a longer period, then paid lessons will be compensated by extra lessons or by returning the payment of those missed lessons (in these situations the teacher expects a note from the doctor or a written note from parents). If the teacher is not informed of absence from lessons, then those lessons are not compensated in any form. If the student terminates the lessons during the already paid term, then according to teacher’s consideration the part which has not been used will be returned.
If the student damages the school instruments, she/he will be liable for compensation.
The progress of the studies of piano playing is subject to taking part in lessons and regular practicing at home.
New students will be taken in order of enrolment throughout the year.
